About Veritas Forums

Veritas Forum

Where does morality come from? Isn't science rapidly approaching a complete explanation of nature? Do you ever have doubts about your worldview? Where can I find meaning and fulfillment?

College students around the world are asking themselves and their friends these questions, but there is often no real place to explore these questions alongside brilliant faculty and leading thinkers.

Veritas Forums are university events that engage students and faculty in discussions about life's hardest questions and the relevance of Jesus Christ to all of life.

Veritas Forums are created and hosted by campus student organizations, connected to a network of 70 campuses nationwide, and supported by the national Veritas Forum team.

What Mother Teresa Taught Me About Social Justice

Mary Poplin - Professor in the School of Educational Studies, Claremont Graduate University

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 7:00 PM
Wells Hall B115

If you could spend a few months with Mother Teresa, what would you ask? Mary Poplin will share how her experience with Mother Teresa fit into a life journey that brought her to the Christian faith. Join a discussion both personal and relevant, infused with wisdom from one of the faith luminaries of the modern world.

We are anticipating a full house at Wells Hall for Mary Poplin's presentation! We want to give MSU students the first opportunity to see Dr. Poplin, so we will be checking IDs at the door, and students will be given priority seating.
